In the heart of the national park around the ranch lies Lake Kolon with one of Europe’s most important bird station on it’s shore. An early morning car ride through the sleeping park will reward you with the amazing experience of bird ringing. You get to help out with the process, and at the end let them go free again from your own hand!

A late afternoon program can include a boat trip on Lake Kolon where you can see the wildlife of the lake up close. Hear how the reed warbler argues and witness an enormous flock of starlings flying in as the sun goes down!
